A pastor should not act alone in administration of a parish. He must hear the voice of his people, and they must be well represented. Saint Andrew Parish has two advisory committees to the pastor. Independently, they advocated for all parishioners in the areas of Spirituality and Financial Decisions .These links connect to pages containing the duties of each committee, and their members.
The Parish Pastoral Council fosters participation of the entire parish in the life and mission of the Church. The Council, as a consultative body, advises and assists the pastor in areas of pastoral concern. It develops and recommends parish pastoral plans through consensus in an atmosphere of prayerful reflection. The pastor of the parish is the Chairperson. Members of the Pastoral Council are representative of the entire parish recognizing and reflecting the parish’s diversity. The Pastoral Council collaborates and cooperates with the parish staff, committees, groups and parishioners.

The Parish Finance Committee is a consultative body which assists the pastor in areas related to the parish finances and temporalities on a regular basis. While separate and distinct from the Pastoral Council, the Finance Committee shares information with the Council and assists the pastor in implementing the pastoral plans suggested by the Parish Pastoral Council by making fiscally responsible recommendations.
